يعلن قسم المالية في كلية إدارة الأعمال بجامعة الملك سعود على وظيفة معيد، بحسب الشروط التالية (الرجاء قراءة الشروط كاملة حيث لن يتم النظر في أي طلب لا تنطبق عليه الشروط كاملة):

أولاً: وظيفة معيد:
1)  ان يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على درجة البكالوريوس بالانتظام في تخصص المالية (او اي تخصص من التخصصات العلمية ذات الطبيعة الكميه على سبيل المثال لا الحصر الحاسب الالي و الهندسة) من احدى الجامعات بتقدير جيد جداً على الاقل وبمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 4 من 5 أو ما يعادلها.
-  في حال ان الجامعة سعودية يجب ان تكون معتمده من قبل هيئة الاعتماد الاكاديمي الوطني.
-  أما في حال أن المتقدم حاصل على البكالوريوس من جامعة من خارج المملكة، لابد أن تكون الجامعة التي تخرج منها من ضمن الجامعات المعتمدة لابتعاث منسوبي قسم المالية بجامعة الملك سعود وبمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 4 من 5. وأن تكون الشهادة قد تمت معادلتها من قِبل وزارة التعليم معادلة مطلقة.
2)  أن يكون المتقدم حاصلاً (أو مؤهلاً للحصول) على قبول في برنامج ماجستير في تخصص المالية على أن تكون الجامعة المقبول بها من الجامعات المعتمدة لابتعاث منسوبي قسم المالية بجامعة الملك سعود.
3)  أن يجتاز المتقدم الامتحان التحريري والمقابلة الشخصية التي يحددهما القسم.
4)  يتم الاختيار بين ممن تنطبق عليهم الشروط الواردة أعلاه على أسس تنافسية وبحسب احتياجات القسم.

ثانياً: وظيفة محاضر:
1)  ان يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على درجة البكالوريوس بالانتظام في تخصص المالية (او اي تخصص من التخصصات العلمية ذات الطبيعة الكميه على سبيل المثال لا الحصر الحاسب الالي و الهندسة) من احدى الجامعات بتقدير جيد جداً على الاقل وبمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 4 من 5 أو ما يعادلها.
-  في حال ان الجامعة سعودية يجب ان تكون معتمده من قبل هيئة الاعتماد الاكاديمي الوطني.
-  أما في حال أن المتقدم حاصل على البكالوريوس من جامعة من خارج المملكة، لابد أن تكون الجامعة التي تخرج منها من الجامعات المعتمدة لابتعاث منسوبي قسم المالية بجامعة الملك سعود وبمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 4 من 5. وأن تكون الشهادة قد تمت معادلتها من قِبل وزارة التعليم معادلة مطلقة.

2)  أن يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على درجة الماجستير بالانتظام والحضور الصفي في تخصص المالية من جامعة معتمدة من الجامعات المعتمدة لابتعاث منسوبي قسم المالية بجامعة الملك سعود وبمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 4 من 5. وأن تكون الشهادة قد تمت معادلتها من قِبل وزارة التعليم معادلة مطلقة. 

3)  أن يكون المتقدم حاصلاً على قبول لدرجة الدكتوراه في تخصص المالية على أن تكون الجامعة المقبول بها من الجامعات المعتمدة لابتعاث منسوبي قسم المالية بجامعة الملك سعود، وعلى أن يشمل برنامج الدكتوراه المقبول فيه على الآتي:

‌أ.  مواد دراسية على مستوى الدكتوراه وتكون بنظام الساعات المعتمدة (For Credit) وليس بطريق الاستماع أو ورش العمل أو عن بعد، على أن تشمل المواد الدراسية، وبحد أدنى، المواضيع التالية:
ب.    مواد في نظريات وتطبيقات الادارة المالية وتقييم الأصول والاستثمار لا تقل عن أربعة مواد (لا تقل عن 12 ساعة فصلية معتمدة).
ج.  مواد في التخصص الفرعي لا تقل عن ثلاثة مواد (لا تقل عن 9 ساعات فصلية معتمدة).
د.  مواد في التحليل الإحصائي ومنهج البحث على أن تشمل على سبيل المثال لا الحصر مواد في التحليل المتعدد المتغيرات (Multivariate Analysis) والاقتصاد القياسي (Econometrics). على أن لا يقل عدد مواد التحليل الإحصائي ومنهج البحث عن أربعة مواد (لا تقل عن 12 ساعة فصلية معتمدة).
‌هـ.  اختبار شامل أو أكثر (Comprehensive Examination) تتبع اجتياز المواد الدراسية تسبق البدء في الرسالة.
و.   رسالة دكتوراه لإنهاء متطلبات درجة الدكتوراه.

4)  أن يجتاز المتقدم الامتحان التحريري والمقابلة الشخصية التي يحددهما القسم بالإضافة إلى تقديم عرض أكاديمي ومحاضرة علمية   في إحدى المواضيع التي يحددها القسم وبحضور لجنة التقييم التي يحددها القسم.

Teach For Lebanon is a Lebanese NGO which was established in 2008, when Ali Dimashkieh, deeply concerned about educational inequality in Lebanon, learned about a new international education reform initiative called Teach For All, which has affiliates in 26 countries. After some study, Dimashkieh conceived a “Teach For-” initiative in Lebanon, and Teach for Lebanon was born. A bit over a year later, Teach for Lebanon sent its first newly trained cohort of Fellows off to teach in remote rural schools.

We recruit fresh graduates from different majors and train them through a six-week summer institute to be well prepared for the mission which is eliminating educational inequality in Lebanon while fostering youth leadership.

Our "Fellows" have impacted the lives of more than 3200 children at schools scattered all over Lebanon: Gebrayel, Bakhoun, Barsa, Maaroub, Arde, Saida, Ansar, Halba, Hasbaya, Rashaya, Douma Ibrine, Chikka and Abbaseyeh.

Khairieh El Hariri, a Fellow currently teaching at Saida Generation School, says that “There is nothing rewarding than planting the seed of knowledge so that students can grow their own tree of knowledge. That's why I'm here!"

George Saliba, a TFL Alumnus who currently is the Human Resources Manager at TFL, talks about Teach For Lebanon as a dynamic Lebanese youth movement committed to reform in the rural educational system in Lebanon. Position: Case Officer (Junior Level) for the Mashreq & Gulf regions, temporary 1-year contract, with possibility of renewal for a long-term position.

Reporting to: Regional Legal Officers for the Mashreq & Gulf regions (normally based in the Geneva office).

Job description:

Based in Alkarama’s regional office in Beirut, the Case Officer will work closely with the Heads of the Beirut and Sana’a offices and the two Regional Legal Officers for the Mashreq & the Gulf to work on individual cases of human rights violations in the Arab world – namely extrajudicial executions, enforced disappearances, torture and arbitrary detention –. This will include documenting such violations and bringing them to the attention of relevant national and international human rights mechanisms, most importantly the UN Human Rights Mechanisms, by means of individual complaints; maintaining close and confidential relations with victims and sources; contributing to the organisation’s knowledge of the countries in the region; and assisting in the identification of positive and negative trends in the human rights situation in relevant countries.

Major responsibilities

Manage and treat individual cases of human rights violations in the Mashreq & Gulf regions, including:
Documentation of individual cases of human rights violations through analysis of information from a wide variety of sources;
Preparation of individual complaint submissions to the UN human rights mechanisms (e.g. Special Procedures, Treaty Bodies) or other relevant national and international bodies;
Maintaining contact with victims and their families, lawyers or other relevant sources to keep informed of developments of cases;
Monitoring the work of UN bodies and others to ensure appropriate follow-up in form of further submission of information to the UN, media work or other actions in an efficient and timely manner.
Research on country situations and drafting reports to UN human rights mechanisms (e.g. Treaty Bodies, Universal Periodic Review) or other reports.

Requirements

Masters degree in law or social sciences with an international law component, or a Bachelor degree in a similar field with related work experience;
Knowledge of the legal, political and cultural specificities of the Arab world and particularly those of the Mashreq & Gulf countries;
Excellent communication skills also with regard to sensitive topics in interaction with various stakeholders, most importantly victims and their families, lawyers, partner organisations, UN staff, governmental authorities and the media.
Ability to produce professional legal documentation (e.g. individual complaints to Special Procedures) in a well structured, timely, effective and independent manner;
Ability to work in a small, multicultural organisation, respect for diversity;
Highly organised, able to work quickly, effectively and independently under tight deadlines with overseas colleagues;
Fluency in Arabic and English, spoken and written, working proficiency in French welcomed;
Commitment to working for the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in a fair and equitable manner, without prejudice or discrimination of any kind.

Job description

SCOPE OF WORK: 
The IRC is currently seeking a Safety and Security Coordinator (SSC) for its Lebanon Program, based in Beirut with travel to program locations. The position will work with the country management team to ensure that organizational security policies and procedures are responsive to the context, adequate and known to staff. Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of operations, the SSC will analyze security trends, advise, update, and implement the IRC Lebanon Security Management Plan. The SSC will conduct onsite training for staff, facilitate the development and implementation of appropriate security plans, Standard Operating Procedures and Contingency Plans. S/he will provide expert security advice to all levels of IRC staff in the country office including security updates, advisories, and incident management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety and Security Management Planning
  • Provide technical support to the DDO on all policies, procedures, guidelines and planning for staff safety, operational security and program continuity in Lebanon;
  • Evaluate, review and update the Lebanon Security Management Plan on a regular basis. Reference and ensure compliance to IRC Security Management Framework within the SMP and all annexes.
  • Work with DDO and Sr. Field Managers to develop, consolidate and implement operating procedures and contingency plans;
  • Evaluate, review and update the hibernation and evacuation plans for all IRC offices and residences in Lebanon and ensure that the practical preparations are in place and known to all staff involved;
  • Conduct risk assessments of contracted and prospective offices and residences. Follow up on actions to be taken to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
  • Undertake continual assessments of equipment, and the protocols by which that equipment is used, to ensure that minimal conditions for security are being met.
  • Provide and implement best possible solutions for use of equipment to facilitate communication between staff, including here proposing safe alternative means of communication and equipments,
Building Acceptance to empower and expand humanitarian programming
  • Develop ongoing relationships with local authorities as needed and other power brokers within.
  • Work to ensure that IRC, its mission and work in the region is known and accepted.
  • Work to encourage stakeholders to work with the IRC in ensuring that staff and programs are safe and allowed to continue humanitarian activities in Turkey.
  • Provide technical input and advice in assessments to consider new IRC programs in new geographic areas.
  • In coordination with DDO, liaise with relevant security actors e.g., NGO Security Focal Point, SSCL, other NGO security coordinators, region UNDSS contacts, local community stakeholders, Governors, etc.
Monitoring, Analysis and Supervision
  • Identify, establish and manage context appropriate approach to assure IRC facilities are
  • Compile and submit monthly security reporting that track incidents and trends within the IRC’s area of operation. Submit daily contextual updates as needed to the Country Director (CD) /DDO/RSSA.
  • Work closely with IRC teams in Field Offices in Lebanon to ensure all incidents and accidents are followed up with an official written report, which is then shared with relevant stakeholders and filed appropriately. Ensure also that final incident reports are provided when IRC is closing the case.
  • Coordinate regularly with the RSSA on safety and security, and fulfill reporting requirements to the region.
  • Collect and compile all security reports for IRC Lebanon.
Security Training and Orientation
  • Provide a development plan with precise capacity building method to the Safety and Security team.
  • Provide regular trainings for IRC staff on security preparedness, prevention and response. Training(s) may include Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs); Contingency Plans (CPs); Security Management; Incident Reporting; Prevention and Response Mechanisms; Communications protocols, etc.
  • Working with the HR focal point on reviewing, updating the IRC Syria Security Information package for new hires and visitors.
HR Managements
  • Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions including staff development plans.
  • Lead with commitment, integrity and accountability the “IRC Way” – Global Standards for Professional Conduct - and ensure adherence.

Desired Skills and Experience

REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 3 years of non-profit or NGO work experience within international humanitarian assistance programs with demonstrated capabilities in planning, organizing and executing security operations in the field. 
  • Understanding the humanitarian principles, code of conduct and specific sub-sector work linked to NGO field and operations contexts.
  • Advanced knowledge in communications technology, including, satellite communications, cell phone mediums, etc.
  • Strong experience as a trainer – the ability to develop, implement, facilitate and impart learning to a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to gain a precise understanding of the various local, regional, country and international policies, operational positions and interactions, providing clear dynamic briefings and analysis of given and unfolding security and political situations when they occur.
  • Regional experience strongly preferred
  • Previous NGO security management an asset.
  • Written and verbal English and Arabic Skills essential with French language skills a plus

BACKGROUND: Engineering degree Electrical/Industrial/Electronics.
Software and networking knowledge.
Experience in Database Management. 5 years’ experience in similar position.
Good Written and verbal analytical skills.
